Why Create Essential Questions?
To make the summarizing process easier. To ensure that you properly understand the purpose of the day’s lesson.

Convert the day’s Standard into a question.
What To Do If There Is No Essential Question Be proactive: Ask the teacher: “What is the one question that I should be able to answer after today’s lesson?” Be friendly and non-confrontational. Make sure it’s when they are not busy. Convert the day’s Standard into a question.
