6. Synesthesia and what that means
Hand out the doc on Synesthesia. Before playing video ask:
Pay attention to the video and the hand out. I want you to write some notes in you sketchbook. Title the page Synesthesia. Write your own definition for it.
Write down 3 interesting things you learn about Synesthesia from the video and or the handout.
After watching the video:
All the artists I showed on the previous four slides were known as Synesthesia artists. Lets look over this slides again and I want you to tell me what stands out that is comen to their work.

7. Music Genre's
As a class we need to choose 4 genre’s to work with for this unit of study.
The genre’s need to be different so we can explore how they effect us.
Are there any recommendations? (Post on board) Once a list is put together, try listening on web radio Pandora.
Have students turn to a fresh page in their sketchbook and label the genre and their first emotional response to the music when they here it. Keep it simple, use one work responses: Good, Happy, Sad, Moody, Tired, Excited, etc. This will be used to help us decide what genre’s we will work with.
