Still room for expansion – could start small groups for people who attend 9:40 Children Sunday School Choir Youth Worship

5 Sunday 9:45 Winter Service For 10 weeks starting in January and ending middle of March
FULL – If power up grows much more they will be out of room to expand. 9:45 service would then grow into the new space. Children Sunday School Choir Sunday School class moves from worship center to Education wing, 4th & 5th graders move down hall and youth moves to office conference room. Youth Worship

9:40 power up has to reset the stage for the Sunday evening programming with the youth. There is no big space available for a large group to go into. Would have to split. New activity room would allow bigger groups to stay together. Can not use choir room as it is used after the last song on the 11 am service. Children Sunday School Choir Youth Worship

7 Sunday Evening Children Sunday School Choir - 940 Youth Worship
Monday the Activities building has to be reset for the MOPS twice a month. Children Sunday School Choir - 940 Youth Worship Life class meets as needed

8 Tuesday activities Other Boy Scouts MOPS and Moms morning out
Worship arts are voice, violin, guitar, piano and drama lessons. UMM meets the second Tuesday of each month for speaker and dinner 9:00 Women’s bible study – Dot Wood Other Boy Scouts MOPS and Moms morning out Worship Arts

10 Thursday Evening Celebrate Recovery Worship Arts
Thursday the activities building has to be reset for CR. Celebrate Recovery Worship Arts When the Start celebration station starts more rooms will be needed for elementary children. 6.30 am men's bible study dot - wood 9:30 am women's bible study – dot wood

11 Friday Activities Celebrate Recovery noon – 2pm
Friday the room is emptied from CR for power up to set up Sunday morning. CR are group meets that has childcare Al Non meets at noon Parents night out once a month Celebrate Recovery noon – 2pm

12 Quest Camp – weekdays 7:30 am -5:30 pm For 10 weeks during the school summer break (One of those weeks is VBS) Due to set up and take down issues this room could not be used for Quest Sanctuary had to be taken down on Sunday and then put back up on Friday night or Saturday. Made it difficult for staff when sanctuary was need for another purpose during the week. Wednesday kids activities where off site so the choir could practice in the choir room. Quest camp used the sanctuary this past summer. The current activity building and classrooms were used so often that made it impossible to have anywhere else.

13 Vacation Bible School All activities are suspended for week so VBS can take over the campus No room for growth as we have hit the limit on number of children with the facilities we have.

Opens up some classroom space for growth Children Sunday School Choir Moves the service to the new space, opens up three classrooms for expansion of SS or children Youth Worship

Youth is moved, children are moved, choir is back in the choir room and frees up sanctuary for dinners, new studies, etc. Al non meets at Noon CR meets at 10-noon Children Classes Choir Youth Music Classes

17 Thursday Evening - NEW Celebrate Recovery
CR now does not need to be set, tables and chairs most likely will stay up. Kitchen is full function. Celebrate Recovery 6.30 am men's bible study dot - wood 9:30 am women's bible study – dot wood As we start celebration station more rooms ware shown for the elementary children.

18 Quest camp - NEW Moves quest camp to new building – can eat outside on patio, has kitchen access, bathrooms are attached, frees up Sanctuary for other uses, does not disrupt weekly activities in the Dot wood room.

Contractor’s main focus is on metal building construction Years of experience Is a local contractor Reputable name in the community Builder builds the building and is not sub contracted History of contractor completes projects timely

Six bids where received back Building committee voted and selected the lowest bid

New building cost Amount of Building $ 850,000.00 Less Amount on hand $ 759,907.41 Amount needed to complete 90,092.59 Gifts received over the next 9 months should pay for the addition. The Finance Committee was able to securing financing and had three good options to choose from. If we did have to finance a portion at a later date we can then revisit the options.
