Landcare Germany (DVL)
Founded in 1993 by local Landcare Associations (LCAs) Umbrella organisation for all such organisations in Germany 160 Landcare associations (LCA) are members – at least one in every federal state Offer trainings, advice and support knowledge exchange and network we foster exchange of knowledge and experiences we provide support and policy guidance to the network of LCAs we regularly inform and influence decision-makers at all levels offer trainings and handbooks Marie Kaerlein, DVL

not-for-profit organisations, Independent units working on a district level parity Boards: equal numbers of nature conservationists, farmers and local politicians voluntary participation On request, they offer advice to municipal administrations, to farmers and other private landowners regional networking Working together with local stakeholders and organisations Consider all three perspective serving the public interest At eye level No public administration Marie Kaerlein, DVL

Landcare Associations How to achieve these goals

Landcare Associations Cooperation already acknowledged
