4. Cdt? What does that mean?
CDT stands for CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENT TECHNOLOGIST.
Getting your CDT means:
Adding "CDT" after your name, to your business card and to your resume
Understanding how a project unfolds from conception to delivery
Understanding the documentation involved
Getting listed in the Certificant's Directory
The CDT Exam is also the prerequisite to the rest of CSI’s exams.
CCS – Certified Construction Specifier
CCCA – Certified Construction Contract Administrator
CCPR – Certified Construction Product Representative
Passing the CDT exam earns 40 hours under the ‘additional opportunities for jurisdictional experience’ in NCARB’s IDP.

5. NCARB? IDP?
NCARB is the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
NCARB hosts IDP records, and oversees the Architect Registration Examination (ARE).
IDP is the Intern Development Program.
This program helps architectural interns document are the hours of experience needed to earn their architectural license.

LECTURE
Rick Lueb will be here on February 16th to present on specifications and their evolution. The lecture will start at 6:00 pm in ARCH Room 250.
ELECTIONS
Elections will be for all positions for the 2017 Fiscal Year (July 1, 2016 – June 30, 2017)
Elections will be held at the March General Members Meeting (March 14th)
Nominations are due by March 4th, at 11:30 pm.

You must be a member of OSU-S CSI (through CampusLink) and CSI (through csinet.org)
A complete nomination has 3 things:

Nominees will be notified by March 6th of their prospective positions.
Nominees also have the opportunity to prepare a short “elevator speech” for the March General Members Meeting.
