Nordic Invitational Cup 2018
Nordic Invitational Cup is an annual Nordic football tournament for girls 14 with the goal to offer teams, players and leaders to be challenged internationally. In 2018 it is time for girls born 2004.
15 teams will be invited to the tournament and the selection of teams is based on performance and recommendations, as our goal is to offer a high quality international football tournament and experience.
The teams have won or has the strength to win the local (regional or national) tournaments in respective country
Tyresö FF ( is based in Tyresö just south of Stockholm with over 1500 members from 6 years of age. In 2017 we participated with more than 100 teams in different leagues, including the S:t Erik’s Cup.
We conduct both breadth and elite activities from the football school for the youngest to our women's and men's representative teams.
Nordic Invitational Cup 2018 will be played May 11-13th 2018
The teams should be prepared to play during the following hours
Friday May 11th 09:00-20:00
Saturday May 12th 08:00-20:00
Sunday May 13th 08:30-16:30
The tournament will be played on two full size pitches (artificial turf) at Tyresövallen in Tyresö, 15 km south of Stockholm.
Accommodation will be in classrooms in a nearby school during the 3 nights, open from 10 May until 13 May.
The school has bus connections from Stockholm and are located at walking distance (max 900 m) from Tyresövallen.
All meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) will be served in the school.

3. Tournament info 16 teams will play in a three day 11-a-side tournament
11 players + maximum 7 substitutes per match
No exemption for overage players
Group play 2 x 25 minutes, playoffs 2 x 30 minutes
Group play - 4 groups with 4 teams
1st and 2nd team in each group will play A playoff
3rd and 4th team in each group will play B playoff
1/4, 1/2 and Final will be played in A & B playoffs
Match for 3rd place will be played in A playoff
All teams are guaranteed 4 matches
3 referees for all games

Team registration shall be made latest January 20th, 2018 to including team name, contact information such as contact person, address and telephone number.
We will then return with confirmation and payment information.
FIFA rules apply for all the relevant sections. Otherwise, the Swedish Football Association rules apply. Complete rules will be available on the website
Medals to all teams reaching semifinals in A and B playoffs. Trophy to finalists in A playoff and to the winner in B playoff. Maximum 22 medals / team.
