This week we will begin working on symmetry and spatial awareness with flipping and turning plane shapes. Please work with your child to identify different plane and 3D shapes throughout your home.
This week in reading we will read Mister Bones and work on long o: oa, ow and three letter blends. We will work on author’s purpose and monitor and fix up.
This week we will do some fun St. Patrick’s Day activities and begin our unit on maps. We will be looking at cardinal directions as well as making our own map book.
We are wrapping up our information unit on writing teaching books.
