Why we chose this song It was the first thing that came up when we searched “poverty songs” We both take special interest in India (Pema has been to India and Richard likes Indian food) It is very catchy and funny, with an entertaining music video, yet the lyrics contain a very serious message (poverty) and the video shows us people in Indian slums that are very much affected by poverty.
