Fig. 1 Total yield of DNA extracted from dried stain of 5μL blood on cotton cloth (5mm punch) from 6 human donors. The DNA was extracted using the PrepFiler™ Automated Forensic DNA Extraction kit and human DNA was quantified using the Quantifier® Human DNA quantification kit on the HID EVOlution™ Combination System. 1.5mL tubes were used for lysis as well as collection of extracted purified DNA. Fig. 2 Average peak height of alleles in the Identifiler® profile. DNA extracts with indicated concentration were quantified using Quantifier® Human DNA quantification kit, the samples were normalized to 0.1ng/μL when necessary and amplified using the Identifiler® kit. All operations were performed using the HID EVOlution™ Combination System. 1.5mL tubes were used as source container. Each concentration of DNA was run in five replicates. N indicates total number of alleles in each data set.
