MALC Project The MALC will make it easier for:
law schools to create new units, and law students to learn about animal law.

MALC Project The MALC will consist of a set of freely available animal law learning modules. We will begin with SIX modules, with additional modules being added over time.

Australian Animal Law: Overview and History Animals in Agriculture and Trade Animals in Entertainment and Sport Comparative Animal Law Animals, Politics and Law Reform

TODAY’S TASK We are going to build some teaching resources together.
Please select one of the Modules and, in pairs, prepare and create TWO five minute videos: One video for students One video for instructors We will record you when you are ready.

VIDEO ONE Please prepare a FIVE MINUTE presentation, interview or discussion that will assist a law student to understand a particularly difficult, challenging or controversial aspect of the topic or topics in question. It should be something that, in your experience, animal law students often struggle to understand, or relates to a preconception regarding animals or animal law that needs to be challenged.

VIDEO TWO Please prepare a FIVE MINUTE presentation, interview or discussion that will assist a novice animal law teacher to address a particularly difficult, challenging or controversial aspect of teaching the topic or topics in question. You should provide three practical tips that a novice animal law teacher can quickly and easily adopt in their own teaching.
