Put the title of the chapter in LARGE, colorful letters.
Ch. 1 “The Nature of Science”
Include three colorful pictures related to the chapter.
Copy each question & answer the following guiding questions in sentence form: (leave a line between each)
How many variables should be changed in an experiment? (pg. 20)
Why aren’t “constants” changed in an experiment? (pg. 20)
In an experiment, why is it important to repeat it more than one time? Explain. (p. 31)

3. Vocabulary (Page 3 in Composition book)
Cut out the vocabulary words and definitions from Chapter 1.
Use Chapter 1 in the book to help you match the correct word with its definition (or research using your computer at home)
Glue them into your composition book on page 3 and color them if you have time.
