3. Rather than reducing early followers of Jesus to tears, the title of “copycat” was worn as a badge of honour; for the follower of Jesus, being a Christ copycat was the entire aim of their existence. Being acknowledged as Christ-like was exactly what they intended.

5. A shift in attitude only comes about when a way of thinking is confronted and replaced with another. This is why, in Romans 12:2, the Apostle Paul challenges the follower of Jesus to “not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind”.
