11. Additional remit of Inquiry (13 March, 2003):
Charles Clarke announced Government intention to create a National Centre for Excellence in Mathematics Teaching (ACME recommendation in December, 2002) Inquiry to consider and evaluate options and make a recommendation to the Secretary of State in September.
