2 Why is it important to start a conversation about Coding?
1. Preparing Employees for the Evolution of Work McKinsey projects that 14% of the population may need to switch occupations by 2030* due to these changes in technology. Retraining and reskilling workers in the age of automation, published by the McKinsey Global Institute, January 2018 2. Machines are Making Decisions for Us Understand the implications of AI and Machine Learning, particularly as they apply to hiring and performance measurements. They have the potential to have both positive and negative impacts. 3. Talent Wars “I like to say we’re seeing the employment equivalent of a run on the bank, and it’s because everyone’s chasing the same talent at the same time,” said Jennifer Priestley, a professor of statistics and data science at Kennesaw State University.
