Link it to priority areas
Keep it simple
Keep it flexible
Start small and regularly review progress

6. BOARD PROGRAMME - Ideas
Cultural survey - wide distribution – benchmark.
Use Non Officer Board members to do ‘Walkrounds’ to contractor professions
Use Development sessions for Board education programme
Use patient stories first hand – e.g. successful resolution of a complaint
Board ‘Dashboard’ – link to other strands of 1000 lives.
Board Agenda – e.g.Quality reports before Finance reports.
