Our remit: “To develop a theory and evidence-based Framework to assist AHPs measure the impact of their practice” A web-based tool to support practitioners in the selection and use of appropriate tools to measure and report the impact of their practice

4 Development of the Framework
Structured review synthesising the facilitators and barriers to outcome measurement use Identification of outcome measures used (publications) A survey of 282 AHPs to identify outcome measures (practice) Key stakeholder interviews Identifying measures Understanding the problem Reporting guidance

5 Understanding the problem
Four key themes: Knowledge, Education, and Interest in OM Increase in all three facilitates OM Support/Priority for OM use Managerial support Practical Considerations Time, availability, etc. Patient considerations Focus on patient benefit

6 Identifying measures Inclusion criteria for OMs to Framework:
Developed from facilitators and barriers review. Framework will: Provide guidance to enhance knowledge and confidence in OM selection Provide guidance on how to report the data Only suggest measures that are feasible Allow practitioners to consider their local context and select the best measure for them.
