5 Course Overview INFO 415 emphasizes systems analysis and design as an IT discipline and describes the role of the systems analyst in the development of computer-based information systems. The course introduces the student to key systems analysis tools and techniques. Subsequently, the student will apply them to a real-world business problem.  The course uses this project as the vehicle to put into practice tools and techniques related to problem and opportunity definition, requirements analysis and feasibility analysis.  This topics started in this course will be continued in INFO425 - System Design
