In my district 18 we have 9 countries
COTE D'IVOIRE, SENEGAL, SIERRA LEONE, BURKINA FASO, GHANA, BENIN, TOGO, NIGERIA and UGANDA.
And 19 clubs , 381 members,  3 golden Z clubs
We have 3 AREA
The first one include 
- SENEGAL (Z CLUB OF DAKAR)
- SIERRA LEONE (Z. CLUB OF FREETOWN)
- and COTE D'IVOIRE(Z.CLUB OF ABIDJAN)
AREA 2 include
- BURKINA FASO (Z.CLUB OF OUAGADOUGOU

Z.CLUB OF BOBO DIOULASSO) Total 3 clubs
- TOGO (Z.CLUB OF LOME, Z.CLUB OF LOME MILLENIUM) Total 2 clubs
- GHANA (Z CLUB OF ACCRA, Z CLUB OF ACCRA II , Z. CLUB OF ACCRA METROPOLITAN, Z. CLUB OF TEMA and last one since June 2018 is an the "E-CLUB WEST AFRICA") Total 5 clubs 
AREA 3 include
- NIGERIA (Z.CLUB OF LAGOS 1, Z.CLUB OF IBADAN , ZONTA CLUB OF IBADAN 2) Total 3 clubs
- BENIN (Z.CLUB OF COTONOU, Z.CLUB OF COTONOU AMAZONE) Total 2 clubs
- UGANDA (Z.CLUB OF KAMPALA) Total 1 club
Zonta was introduced in Africa for the first time in 1970 and Z. CLUB OF ACCRA was the first club who was chartered.
The PAST INTERNATIONAL PRESIDENT for the biennium 1994 / 1996 Mrs FOLAKE SOLANKE was District 18 member (fromclub of IBADAN)
We speak English (4 countries) and French (5 countries) in my District 
We don't have a common project for the biennium because of the diversity of our countries,  and languages . Many countries are also far one to others.
But we are working to celebrate the zontians who have done original actions for ZONTA and visibility of Zonta in AFRICA for the centennial anniversary of ZONTA INTERNATIONAL.
At the first district board meeting I had presented my Governor's vision and speak about membership, leadership and visibility of Zonta in general  but also visibility of district 18 at the level of ZI HEADQUARTER and ZIF.
We need to grow and for this, we have to create must Z & GOLDEN Z CLUB and learn how we can do to have attractive club's meetings  to retain, rejuvenate and rebuild our members and new members.
