Localization of selected clones in mammalian COS-7 cells. Clones lacking predicted membrane-targeting signals or known homologs were transferred to the pCDNA3 mammalian expression vector. The resulting plasmids were co-transfected to COS cells together with p75 as a plasma membrane marker. Cells were fixed after 36 h and immunostained for p75 (green) and Ras (red). Yellow indicates co-localization.
