NOTE: The 2nd bit is worth 3 marks!
An evaluative essay question

5. Key things that the examiner will be looking for
Accurate spelling of key words.
The 12 mark answers will address how far sociologists agree.
Knowledge of key terms and concepts throughout all answers – you cannot make the top band for 4 or 12 mark answers without referencing a key concept.

6. What I expect from every student in my classes
I will set smaller revision tasks in the lead-up to the exam. I expect these to be completed. This will include practice questions.
That exercise books are well organised and that students identify any gaps in their knowledge and speak to teacher about these.
Students to revise in their own time over the Easter holiday.
Use the current revision we are doing in a meaningful way – it has been Year 9 since some of the content was last covered in detail.
