2. Every complete sentence contains two parts: a subject and a predicate.
The subject is who or what the sentence is about, while the predicate tells what the subject is or does.

3. Judy and her dog run on the beach every morning.

4. Judy and her dog run on the beach every morning.
Judy and her dog is the subject and run on the beach every morning is the predicate.

5. Let’s try one: We spilled popcorn on the floor.
We is the subject and spilled popcorn on the floor is the predicate.
