Effect: Our planet is increasing in temperature. Organisms will die because they can not adapt fast enough

Problem: There’s a hole in the ozone layer
Who caused it: Humans used CFCs (a chemical) that caused the hole
Solution- Don’t use CFCs
Hole is decreasing in size since we’ve stopped using CFCs.

Problem: Sulfur dioxide (SO2) and nitrogen oxides (NOX) are emitted into the atmosphere and make sulfuric and nitric acid from the burning of fossil fuels
Who caused it: Humans by burning fossil fuels
Solution- Limiting burning of fossil fuels and scrubber technology
Effects: Acid rain causes soil to leach aluminum into lakes, rivers, and ponds. The aluminum changes the pH of the water and all the organisms die. Trees and plants are also effected by the leaching of aluminum

What they do: Inject chemical into shale rock and extract natural gas
