11 What made Jane successful is her dertermination and her hard work as well as her persistence. In all life, she devoted most of her life and energy to doing the research on the chimps in their own environment. Learning from Jane, we can know that perseverance and persistence are of vital importance in achieving goals. It has been said that genius is simply a matter of perseverance and the refusal to give up. It takes a person with a very strong will to persevere in the face of mounting difficulties. I believe we do need to have the philosophy of never giving up.
