Leadership and Management Structures
NAPRM-GC maintained and given responsibility to oversee the monitoring and evaluation of GNPoA; Chief Advisor to the President to act as liaison between the Governing Council, the Presidency and MDAs

Integration of NPoA into Existing Development Initiatives
GNPoA mapped unto the Growth and Poverty Reduction Strategy II (GPRS II) Aligning NPoA priorities to National Budget; NAPRM-GC Budget put on the Consolidated Fund by GoG; Convergence into donor support; Developing country-wide over-arching issues on governance with UNDP to align government and CSOs activities on governance

Dissemination, Popular Mobilization and Creation of Ownership
Serialization of Country Review Report in national daily newspaper Publication and launch of the Council Review Report; Universal acceptance of the Report by people of all shades of opinion; Preparation of a Popular Version of the Report; Translation of the Popular Version into 6 local languages

Dissemination ….2 Dissemination of findings of the Report to Parliament, Ministries, Departments and Agencies and other stakeholders throughout the country; To sustain the momentum, the Governing Council in collaboration with the National Commission on Civic Education (NCCE) is undertaking continuing sensitization, education and creation of ownership among populace;

Dissemination…3 Some tertiary institutions have incorporated the APRM into their programmes; All Heads of Mission briefed on APRM and Ghana’s Country Review Report; Formation of District APRM Oversight Committees to educate populace on APRM and monitor the implementation of PoA; Sharing of Ghana’s Experience with other African countries

Reporting Presentation of First Progress Report to APR Panel at AU Summit in Banjul, Gambia; Report tabled at Pan African Parliament; Publication of First Progress Report in national newspaper; Submission of Second (Annual) Progress Report to APR Panel and presented at AU Summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia; Presentation of Progress Report to Stakeholders throughout the country

Limited policy innovation – institutional reforms and others; Leadership and guidance from the APR Secretariat at M&E Phase; Mutual support and sharing of best practices among APRM countries.
