6 Action 1 Goal To identify applications of blockchain on AHA at European level (on going) Target value: at least 6 experiences should be mapped (5/6)

7 Current Blockchain & AHA projects in Europe
Project Name: My Health - My Data Dates: Countries: Greece; Italy; UK; France; Switzerland; Austria; Germany; Romania Funding: H2020 Description: Connection between healthcare providers and researchers, fostering a more robust flow of data, from hospitals that put anonymous data at the disposal of research and development, while providing robust tools for the management of informed consent and control of access to data. More details: Using blockchain for: Informed consent Access control and security Designed for: All citizens

8 Current Blockchain & AHA projects in Europe
Project Name: ProActive Aging (PROlonging ACTIVE life for an independent and healthy AGEING) Dates: Countries: Romania Funding: Romanian Partnership Program, Joint Applied Research Projects Description: Decentralized application in bitcoin protocol for the management of patient identity validation. A workflow establishes an intelligent contract that encourages active participation around different tools that promote independent living and active aging. It has an additional module aimed at medical professionals in this sector. More details: Using blockchain for: Access control and security Designed for: Older people

9 Current Blockchain & AHA projects in Europe
Project Name: Teledermatology platform (DermoNet) Dates: 2017 Countries: Italy, Sardinia region Funding: Sardinia Region Government Description: Decentralized access by the patient to their clinical data, which can be reused for consultation. Smart contracts are implemented to manage teledermatology consultations: patients pay a fee and doctors offer diagnosis, receiving a fee when the patient receives it. Doctor’s identity is checked by the payment of a fee at the registration process, checked by a “validation committee” formed by other doctors of the system. More details: Using blockchain for: New system of payment for diagnosis Designed for: Patients (request dermatology consultation) Doctors (offer diagnosis)

10 Current Blockchain & AHA projects in Europe
Project Name: Teleradiology platform Dates: 2017 Countries: UK Funding: University Description: Management of patient access to data from diagnostic imaging in cancer patients More details: Using blockchain for: Access control and security Designed for: Women with breast cancer

11 Current Blockchain & AHA projects in Europe
Project Name: CareChain Dates: Started in March 2017 Countries: Sweden Funding: Technological consortium : Enterprise Etherum Alliance e Hyperledger Description: Swedish initiative for the establishment of a health system based on blockchain that allows the management and flow of health data, making it possible for users to control their personal information and manage aspects such as informed consents within data protection requirements More details: Using blockchain for: Informed consent Access control and security Designed for: All citizens

12 Action 1 Goal To identifiy applications of blockchain on AHA at European level (on going) Target value: at least 6 experiences should be mapped (5/6) Outcomes Low participation in webinar Lack of multidisciplinarity Mitigation action Video tutorial on blockchain for AHA applications

13 Video tutorial

14 Action 2 Goal To perform a collaborative analysis of potential use-cases (on going) Target value: at least 10 uses cases should be identified Outcomes use-cases focused on health Next steps + use-cases in other fields than health
