Description:
Decentralized application in bitcoin protocol for the management of patient identity validation. A workflow establishes an intelligent contract that encourages active participation around different tools that promote independent living and active aging. It has an additional module aimed at medical professionals in this sector.

Project Name: Teledermatology platform (DermoNet)
Dates: 2017

Funding: Sardinia Region Government
Description:
Decentralized access by the patient to their clinical data, which can be reused for consultation. Smart contracts are implemented to manage teledermatology consultations: patients pay a fee and doctors offer diagnosis, receiving a fee when the patient receives it. Doctor’s identity is checked by the payment of a fee at the registration process, checked by a “validation committee” formed by other doctors of the system.
