2 Lambert Cheerleading Expectations
Follow all rules stated by the LHS Cheerleading Rules and Regulations Attend summer practices, activities and camps Maintain high academic standards Participate in pre/post-game activities and preparations Attend all games and practices (no exceptions)

3 Football Clinic & Try out Dates
Clinic February 26th -Thursday, March 1st Try outs will be Friday March 2nd. We will meet in the Aux gym at LHS from 4-6. On Friday, football ONLY try outs will start around 5:30. (more information to come) The team roster will be posted Friday night March 9th

4 Tryout Procedures Tryouts are closed sessions
Students are not allowed to tryout with finger nails over GHSA regulation or artificial nails (cut to the end of the finger). Students are not allowed to wear jewelry of any kind- rings, earrings, nose-rings, bracelets, anklets, or belly. No cell phones allowed in the gym- all personal items should remain in the locker room. Students should stay on task at all times and remember that the whole week is evaluations

5 Football Eligibility Please know that it is the intention of the football program that all cheerleaders cheer for their grade.(Freshman for 9th grade, Sophomores for JV, and Juniors & Seniors for Varsity) Due to scheduling conflicts, if you are selected for Lambert’s Varsity Competitive cheer team, you will only be eligible to be considered for Varsity sideline. (Example: a sophomore who makes Varsity competition can only be considered for Varsity football sideline)

6 Requirements for Football Cheerleading
Completed Application Packet (Available on our Webpage) Application via google forms Physical – up to date and on Privit Cheer Dance Jumps (toe-touch)‏ Standing Tumbling (BHS-required) (Standing Tuck-recommended) Stunt Evaluation (Liberty as a back, base, or fly)

7 Tentative Date Obligations for Football Cheerleaders
Tryouts: February 26th- March 2nd First Cheerleader meeting March First Parent Meeting –March Summer Camp – Early June TBD Summer Practices –Wednesdays Picture Day-May (Date TBD) Fall practices- Varsity- Wednesday 4-6 Fall Practices- JV/9th –Thursdays 4-6

8 Approximate Cost Obligations
Varsity-$800 Junior Varsity - $600 Freshman-$600 As a program we do not have required fundraising, if we decide to require program wide fundraising, the cost will be adjusted.
