2. NERC IS IAFTF
The NERC OC charged the IS with clarifying the IA function.
The NERC IS IAFTF was formed to review the IA function and address some of the outstanding issues surrounding it.

Clarification of entity, function, and tool
Description of activities with vision of which entity or thing performs them
Answer Who, What, and How functions are performed

This vision lines up well with OASIS II use cases and coordinate interchange standards

15. Next Steps
The NERC IS agrees with the recommendation of the IAFTF white paper and is forwarding it to the NERC OC for comment and approval
If OC approves, the IS will be asked to create a business plan an further detail the IA.
The IS plans on working jointly with NAESB
