A person may spread germs 1 day before feeling sick to 7 days after being sick.

6. How do I know if I have the Flu ?
You may have …
high fever
headache
dry cough
sore throat
runny or stuffy nose
muscle aches
nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea
or be very tired.

7. What should I do if I think I have the Flu?
Rest and get plenty of sleep
Drink plenty of liquids
Always cover your mouth when coughing or sneezing
Take all the medicine your parent
or doctor gives you.

8. How do I keep from getting the Flu?
Don’t share forks, spoons, knives, drinking glasses, pencils, or other things
Don’t rub your eyes or touch your nose, or mouth
Exercise and eat well.
