Apply for your new contract

2 Is your company already a member of IBM PartnerWorld?
The objective of this guide is to provide step by step instructions when applying for IBM authorization to act as a Third Party Cloud Marketplace Provider (hereafter referred to as Cloud Marketplace Provider - CMP). We have attempted to show as many of the screen shots as possible, however there may be variations depending on the country you are applying for. If at any time you encounter a problem with completing any steps in the process, you can get help by contacting PartnerWorld Contact Services (PWCS). PWCS information for your country of residence, including the PWCS address and phone number, can be found at the following URL: Also, there is a link on each screen of the application form for ‘Contact us’. Yes No Complete the Third Party Cloud Marketplace - Cloud Aggregator / Third Party Cloud Marketplace Provider application. Begin on page 9. Join IBM Partner World and apply to become a Cloud Aggregator - CA, or a Cloud Marketplace Provider - CMP. Begin on next page.

3 Join IBM PartnerWorld 1 2 Joining IBM PartnerWorld is a 2-step process
Sign up for an IBM ID * * IBM ID can be used on any ibm.com websites including PartnerWorld If you already have an IBM ID move to step 2. Register your company Sign up for an IBM ID (see pages 4-5 of this guide for related screens) 2 Register your company If your company is already registered you will only need to associate yourself. Contact PartnerWorld if you need assistance. If you are not sure your company is already registered Contact PartnerWorld to confirm. Applications must be completed by an individual authorized to sign agreements on behalf of the legal company. The individual registering the company will also register themselves as the Primary Relationship Contact (PRC) during this step. The PRC is responsible for assigning Authorized Profile Administrators (APAs). To register your company, click this link  Company Registration. If needed, sign in with your IBM ID and password. (see pages 6-8 of this guide for related screens) Allow one to two business days to receive formal admission into the PartnerWorld program. Once you receive with formal admission into the PartnerWorld program, you will be able to update or change data in your company’s profile.

4 To create an IBM ID, fill in your address, First and Last Name, select your country, set a password and then click ‘Continue’. You will receive an with a confirmation code Retrieve the confirmation code from the and paste into the Confirmation code field and click ‘Sign up for an IBMid’ button to proceed.

5 You have successfully created your IBM ID!
Go back to Page 3 of this guide, and continue with Step 2. Register your company.

6 Register your company Once the code has been accepted, fill in all required fields (marked with a red asterisk). Accept the IBM Privacy statement then click ‘Next’. The ‘Next’ button will stay greyed out until all required information is entered. Enter company name. Select your company if found and make any corrections on the form. Type in the information if your company is not found. After completing each field allow for the page to refresh. Note: A VAT ID is required for some countries. Ensure your is in the field, then click ‘Send’. Retrieve your confirmation code from your inbox, and enter it into the Enter your confirmation code field. Note: Check your spam mail if you don’t find the from IBM in you inbox. Click on Verify”

7 Read the PartnerWorld agreement then click ‘I agree’ to accept the terms and conditions.
Please note the ‘Next’ button will stay greyed out until you have agreed or disagreed. Note: You will not be able to proceed unless you agree to the PartnerWorld Agreement. Click ‘Next’ to go to the Confirmation page to review the information you have entered. Review and confirm your profile details, and click ‘Submit’ when ready to proceed. You will receive a confirmation number. Please keep this number for your records.

To begin the application to become a Cloud Marketplace Provider - CMP, check on ‘Apply for a Business Partner Agreement’, and click ‘Continue’ to proceed. Go to Page 11 of this guide to continue.

9 Apply to become an IBM Third Party Cloud Marketplace Partner
1 Log into the PartnerWorld Profiling System (PPS) using the following page: Click ‘Relationship management’ Click ‘Apply and Manage Relationships’

10 Click ‘Apply for a new relationship’
Before continuing the application, ensure the company name shown matches your company’s name as it appears on your official business registration documents. If you need to change the company legal name presented here please follow the user guide ‘Change your legal name’. If your company has multiple Country enterprises registered in PartnerWorld, select the appropriate Country Enterprise ID if you see the choice on the screen (example below). Note: Most companies will not see this screen as they only have one Country Enterprise ID. Click ‘Apply for a new relationship’ IBM Big Data & Analytics © 2013 IBM Corporation

11 Select a Relationship type “Third Party Cloud Marketplace Provider”
The product will be already preselected. Click ‘Next’ to continue.

12 Click to open the Certification statement section.

13 This is the final page, confirming that your application has been submitted to IBM.
Please make a note of your confirmation number, so you may track the progress of your application. The appropriate base agreement, related to the relationship you applied for, will be ed to you for signature. In most countries Business Partners can accept the contract digitally via IBM eSign. You can view more information about IBM eSign here.

14 IBM eSignature Signature Request email
IBM Business Agreement ready for signature [Date] Dear [Business Partner Applicant]: An IBM business agreement has been prepared for [Company_Name] in [Country] and is awaiting your electronic signature. This agreement will be available for 30 days. Please click on the button below to access the document, which can be viewed, printed or saved as a PDF. You confirm that you are authorized to accept the terms of the agreement on behalf of the company, if you are not the correct signer please delegate this agreement to the appropriate person in your organization, once you open the document. The signing of your agreement does not mean that this agreement is active. IBM will notify you when the agreement has been accepted by IBM or will provide you an updated version of the agreement for your signature. If you have any questions about this agreement or the signature process, please contact your IBM Business Partner Contracts team at: [ ] Regards; IBM Business Partner Contracts Team Applicant will receive an from IBM eSignature within a few minutes. Check “spam” folder if not received within 10 minutes Click the button to access the agreement.

15 1 2 3 “Download” will allow you to save a PDF copy of the Agreement to your computer. Take this option if you need to send a copy of the Agreement to others to review, or if you need to print it. Click “Language” to show the IBM eSignature instructions in another language. Click on the “Signing icon” to move automatically to the signature block area of the Agreement.

16 1 2 “Change Signer” enables you to delegate the signing of this Agreement to another person. (see next page) “Opt Out” should be used if your company withdraws their application for the relationship or declines to sign the IBM Agreement. Click on “Opt Out” only if your company has decided not to pursue this relationship with IBM. Note: If you require a hard copy agreement to sign, contact the IBM Business Partner Contract Management Team (BPCM) at the address indicated on the you received for further instructions. Do not Opt Out unless advised to do so by BPCM.

17 IBM eSignature - Change Signer
When you click “Change Signer” a pop up window appears for you to enter the and names of the person to whom you are delegating and to optionally enter a comment. Click “Save” to complete and receive a confirmation message. The delegate will receive an from IBM eSignature requesting they sign the Agreement.

18 IBM eSignature - Signing the Agreement
A virtual “sticky note” indicates where you sign. Click the icon and a window will open to allow you to sign.

19 IBM eSignature - Signing the Agreement
Sign with your mouse here. Click “Clear” to redo it if you don’t like it. Click “OK” when you are happy with the signature. Click “Cancel” to exit from signing. If you would prefer to sign using your mobile device click on the “Sign with your mobile device” button. (see next page)

20 IBM eSignature - Signing with a Mobile Device
If you choose to sign using your mobile device, this window will open. Do not close it until after you have signed the document using your mobile device. IBM eSignature resends the . Open the on the mobile device and click the link. When you go to the document, you will see a “Tap to Sign” message. A signing window will open on your mobile device. You will have the same option to “Clear” your signature to redo it. Click “Done” when finished. You will receive the following messages: “Please click “OK” to confirm your signatures to the document or “Cancel” to review it again before submission.” “We are securing and sealing your documents. This may take a few minutes.” “Thank you for signing with IBM eSignature!” Return to your original device and click on “I’ve signed on my mobile device”.

24 For selected countries the application form requires additional information. See the list of country specific fields: Tax ID - in most cases the Tax ID will be in your company’s PPS profile. If it is missing, you will be prompted to enter it. Applicable for: Brazil – CNPJ Italy – Partita IVA Slovakia - VAT Spain – Certificado de Identificación Fiscal (CIF) Commercial Registry – enter the information in the standard format used for your country. 25 Use ‘Save as draft’ if you need to resume your application at a later time …
Click ‘Save as draft’ at the bottom of the page. Type a description and click ‘Save work’, and you will receive a confirmation number. When you return to the PartnerWorld Profile main page click on the link ‘Resume your saved Business Partner application session’. Note: If you saved the Business Partner Agreement application immediately after applying for PartnerWorld membership, you will not see your saved session until your PartnerWorld membership is approved.
