Random Acts of Kindness Week- This has been a great week of kindness in Room 111! Students have been making links to add to a Kindness Chain in the cafeteria and sharing Hi- 5’s for a job well done!
Service Night was a big Success! Thank you for the many donations and coming out to lend a hand!
Dr. Seuss Day!!! March 21st!!! We have planned a lot of exciting activities to celebrate. Students may come dressed as their favorite Dr. Seuss character for the day!!!! We would also love to have some themed snacks- please me if you are able to send something for the class. Pinterest has tons of great and easy ideas!
Children may still bring in Dr. Seuss books to share. Please put your family name in them!
Our class Night in Green project is coming along great! We are decorating a game/puzzle/toy table!! It will come complete with a class puzzle! It is very cute! So Really! Get ready to bid!
Spelling tests- FYI: The sentences on the back of the pretest should be practiced. The children are expected to spell, space and correctly write the sentences for the test. All of the words follow skills we have covered in class. Some children have been underlining the words if they can’t spell them correctly. They are only to do that when writing stories not on an actual spelling test.
I have switched the time on XtraMath to 6 seconds from 3 seconds. I hope this helps!
