To the west of Iran is Iraq and to the east of Iran is Afghanistan. The Persian Gulf borders Iran to the south.

To the west of Afghanistan is the big nation of Iran. Afghanistan is land locked, which means that there is only land around it (like the state of Oklahoma).

To the south of Saudi Arabia is the country of Yemen and to the east is Oman. It shares its northern border with Jordan, Iraq, and Kuwait.
