7 Waste Disposals During containers of Low Level Waste were processed for emplacement in Vaults at LLWR. If no diversion had taken place the indicative number of containers that would have needed to be disposed was an additional 717 Activity disposal, reported monthly to the EA, remains within the Permitted limits Vault 9 remains in use for storage. 3 May 2019

8 ‘New’ LLWR Permit Radioactive Substances Regulations (RSR) Permit varied – Issued 1st November 2015 Permits disposals in current and future disposal vaults (Planning Application required to allow is this currently being determined) Removes annual limits but introduces lifetime capacity No longer defines the Statutory Environmental Monitoring programme – Full LLWR programme now covers 3 May 2019
