7. Waste Disposals
During 2015, 188 containers of Low Level Waste were processed for emplacement in Vaults at LLWR.
If no diversion had taken place the indicative number of containers that would have needed to be disposed was an additional 743
Activity disposal, reported monthly to the EA, remained within the Permitted limits
Vault 9 remained in use for storage.

8. Ongoing Disposals
Radioactive Substances Regulations (RSR) Permit varied – Issued 1st November 2015 fully implemented
Planning Consent Granted in July 2016 for ongoing disposals including new vaults and capping.
Drum store demolition undertaken
