6. Procedures
Rather than rushing a set of procedures through the MCC review, a more appropriate approach would be to break Steve’s Meta procedure into a set of Beam Test Plans to which Procedures of any type can be appended.
Run the Beam Test Plans through the Standard Approval Process. This has the added advantage of getting CASA involved.
Beam test plans are already part of the process written into the LOD. Once the process is proven to work, THEN you turn it into a procedure that meets the MCC standards. This has worked well for CEBAF, and I think it will also work for the LERF.
