Beginning SY, RFT moves to TSDS Residential Facility Tracker (RFT) * Update 2/20/19 More specific information is forthcoming with training opportunities Robust District, Region, and State reports are included in the TSDS system District should continue to track students in the current RFT system as required and noticed in the TAA Letter dated November 15, 2018. The system will close on June 1, All student record events through the end-of-year date (students residing in a residential facility* on or before May 11, 2019) need to be entered by June 1. Another TAA letter is forthcoming in March reminding districts of this requirement. (one “clean” contact name per facility) * required collection of data for students with disabilities who reside in residential care and treatment facilities (RFs) within the geographic boundaries or jurisdiction of a district.

RF Tracker Information
• Old RFT will still be in place through June. May 11 is the EOY date. • RF Tracker will close on June 1 so TEA has the entire summer to transfer all data into TSDS • TEA will give each active RF a special identification number in the new TSDS system • Make sure facility names are accurate in the existing RFT • Contact information should just be one name, no titles for each facility • Once it rolls over this summer it will still be called RFT, but it will be in TSDS
