It allows us to identify domains and analyze their architecture Domains are stored in the database based on their phyletic distributions, functional class, tertiary structures and functionally important residues

Normal vs genomic mode The main difference is in the protein database used Normal mode contains more databases (proteomes) Genomic mode contains only proteomes of sequenced genomes Normal mode has redundancy Genomic mode is more precise/accurate/reliable but has a smaller database
