The ‘CREATE A SNOWFLAKE’ CELEBRATION continues!
Look at Mr. Bax’s office door - doesn’t it look amazing! There are easier ones, there are harder ones. Can you create one entirely yourself? - creativity and having your own original design is encouraged.

‘CREATE A SNOWFLAKE’ CELEBRATION
Anyone is welcome to make a paper snowflake. See below for links of ‘how-to’ videos, and details about different levels: Easiest Any simple 6-sided snowflake created yourself - any style! A little harder A 6-sided single paper snowflake. A 6-sided single paper snowflake but with some creative designs. Wow - cool! A single piece of paper but 3-D snowflake. This is a challenge! A multi-paper 3-D snowflake.

Math, maTH, MATH!! Snowflakes are made of 10 protons and 10 electrons!
Math is amazing - math is everywhere. This month we will explore fun math facts about snowflakes! Thanks to students from Brietbach’s and Ahlfeldt’s classes for the snowflake facts: Snowflakes are made of 10 protons and 10 electrons! Math - it’s the only subject that ‘counts’!!

* Wellness Break - Grades 5 to 8 students are welcome to come to the library for 2nd recess to have some QUIET down time. The Wellness Break will allow you to settle into a quiet corner in the library to read a book, do some drawing or some quiet, independent activity. No talking, chatting, doing homework, or technology allowed.

Band Wednesday at 3:30 - 5 Intermediate clarinet sectional Tuesday first break (11:00) Intermediate flutes - sectional Wed. at 11:00 Low Brass sectional Thursday at 11:00 (Trom, tuba, baritone) Please pick up your band shirts tomorrow morning so we know how many more to order.
