2. Specific objectives 1 Area of public financing and expenditure:
Propose a common data-gathering scheme
Consider harmonising concepts and data-gathering procedures
Develop a framework concept and guidelines for future data collections
Produce data tables and indicators for participating countries, accompanied by a clear indication of shortcomings regarding comparability

3. Specific objectives 2 Area of household budget data:
Delineation and grouping of cultural household expenditure
Production of tables and indicators

6. Working activities realized so far :

7. Mapping of the inventory data sources (in the form of tabular summary), concerning Public expenditure and receipts on culture, delivered by the EU Member States
First proposal of the questionnaire, relating to the Public expenditure and direct receipts on culture, containing on the whole 10 crucial questions
Analysis of these outputs and compilation of the overall summary and 1st proposal of the table, involving domains and indicators
Compilation and sending of the HBS questionnaire with 10 main questions to all EU countries so that ask them
HBS questionnaires evaluation, compilation of the overview of these questions and 1st proposal of the table, containing domains and indicators
Elaboration of the intermediate TF report

8. Proposals of the tables related to the Public and HBS expenditure, in the connection with the comments and reactions of all EU countries, and their progressive upgrade, after thorough analysis
Compilation of improved versions of the tables for the Public and HBS expenditure together with the first version of the methodology (i.e. the system of data collection)
Evaluation of the sent comments, obtained from all EU Member States, and their incorporation into at that time compiled proposals of the 2 fundamental outputs (the tables + methodology) – within the period of 9-12/2010
A lot of continuous consultations with all EU Member States, project‘s members, main co-ordinator, project leader, TFs and the Czech Interdepartmental WG

10. Pilot data collection related to the Public expenditure within all EU countries (based on the consent, concluded at the 2nd TF 2‘ Restricted meeting in October 2010 in Amsterdam), using last version of the TF 1‘ cultural domains

Elaboration of the pre-final version of methodology incl. the tables for data collection (at both levels – initial and target versions at the Public expenditure vers. narrower and broader at the HBS expenditure), containing the cultural domains by selecting from the TF 1‘ final solution
