1. Making Picture File Sizes and Dimensions Smaller
Open the folder with the pictures that you want reduce in file size
Highlight the photos you want to optimize.
To highlight all files:
Click the first one.
Press Ctrl+A on the keyboard.
To highlight multiple adjacent files:
Hold down shift and click the last one in the list.
To highlight multiple non-adjacent files:
Hold down ctrl and click the non-adjacent files.
Right click on the highlighted pictures.
Left click on Resize Pictures.
Choose the options you want.
Be sure to click the word Advanced if you only see the basic options instead of the list to the left.
Click OK

2. Wait for the resizer to finish.
Go to View Details in the folder window with the pictures.
Click Name and the files will be organized by name.
Note the difference between the original file size and the one marked small with the same name.
If you press the size tab---you can put all the large files in a list so that you can move or delete them---leaving the optimized files for your use.
