Brief Myocardial Ischemia Produces Transient LV Dysfunction Consistent With Stunned Myocardium A 10-min total left anterior descending coronary artery (LAD) occlusion caused a transient reduction in anterior wall thickening that persisted 1 h after reperfusion, indicative of myocardial stunning.
