Comparison and Contrast
SOURCE 1 and 2 Both Source 1 and 2 suggest that with each Supreme Court decision, protests are bound to follow and a portion of the public will be adamantly against the decision. In the same way that Source 1 depicts the opinion of one side of the argument, Source 2 points out several sides and supports these opinions with long explanations of the “pros and cons” Source 1 suggests, however, that the decision was much more straightforward while Source 2 and its high amount of detail shows a very disputed and heavily considered decision. Source 2 goes further than Source 1 in arguing the support and choices in decision making that led to the formation of the decision.
