Asking questions about these points in advance can greatly increase the speed you and Datalliance can onboard a distributor. Before the meeting, the Goals for Relationship box should be evaluated. This will help guide the overall conversation and explain to the distributor why your company is interested in them joining your program. The Distributor’s Objective box is to identify what the distributor wants to achieve by joining your VMI program. Keep this answer in mind during set up and have it ready for the first performance review. The VMI Set-Up Details box is to lead a discussion about the minimum technical requirements. This box should be edited if your have any black and white requirements you want all potential distributors to meet e.g. use EDI, sales minimums.
