Learning Goals: Students will identify complementary and supplementary angles, vertical angles, and linear pairs and use those identities to find congruent angles, values of x and apply the ans, and missing degrees of other angles.

5 ALGEBRA Find the measures of two supplementary angles if the measure of one angle is 6 less than five times the other angle. Example 5-2a

6 Perpendicular Lines that form right angles are perpendicular.
Perpendicular lines intersect to form four right angles and form congruent adjacent angles. Segments & rays can be perpendicular to lines or to other line segments & rays. The right angle symbol indicates that the lines are perpendicular.
