2 “Priority Model” Criteria
Complete at least two of the following: Advanced Academic Programs Earn 12 hours of college credit courses (e.g. dual credit, AP); or graduate under the Distinguished Level of Achievement High School Plan or under the International Baccalaureate Program. Advanced Math Complete a math course beyond Algebra II Class Standing Rank in top third of high school graduating class or attain a B average (e.g. 3.0 on 4.0 scale) College Readiness Achieve a college readiness threshold as determined by the Texas Success Initiative or be exempt 2

It is important to note that comparisons between FY2014 and FY2015 are difficult for reasons beyond the introduction of the Priority Model criteria: FY2105 data is preliminary; 2-year institutions were limited to renewal awards beginning in FY2015; and significant shifts in TEXAS Grant allocations occurred in FY2015 due to SB 28 changes. Due to the change with 2-year institutions, the data presented represents public 4-year institutions only. 5
