After a GA signal is perceived by an unknown GA receptor, a series of undefined events takes place that leads to translocation of PHOR1 from the cytoplasm to the nucleus. SPY may be involved in modifying PHOR1 or other components that are important for PHOR1 translocation. In the nucleus, PHOR1 may interact with GAI and RGA, two negative regulators of GA signaling, to activate downstream GA signaling components
