Simile A comparison between two unlike things using the word ‘like’ or ‘as’. Her teeth were like stars, they came out at night. Her nose was like a rose; a big red one. She moved soft as the night.

Personification When we give human qualities to non-human or inanimate objects. The wind danced in the trees. The breeze kissed her cheek.
