1. Spring Term Class 3 Music
We are going to be exploring musical patterns and rhythms.
GEOGRAPHY
We will be investigating maps, using a
compass and co-ordinates. RE
We will be learning about inspirational people from the past including Jesus. This will culminate in an exploration of Easter themes
SCIENCE
In science we will be learning about fossils
P.E
This half term we have a Monday session developing skills associated with producing a piece of dance. We will focus on core fitness on alternate Wednesdays.
FRENCH
We have a weekly French session where we will be learning basic vocabulary through songs and games. This half terms focuses on months and celebrations.
Spring Term
Class 3
LITERACY
This half term a lot of our literacy work will
be focused on our book The Firework-makers
Daughter by Philp Pullman. We will be
writing persuasive letters and explanations.
There will also be regular reading and
spelling sessions.
MATHS
Our maths work will cover the usual range of topics including problem solving, multiplication and division, money and statistics. We will also be working multiplication tables.
PSHE
Our focus this half term will be thinking about families and the difference between secrets and surprises.
ICT
We will be using Excel to present data, we will link this with our Science, Maths and English work.
