How can we harness the collective power of members to influence a regulatory environment and bring down healthcare costs ? How do we achieve a point where our members and other stakeholders in the industry accept us as a credible source between our members, other stakeholders and government ? Is BHF still relevant to the private healthcare funding industry ? What is the relevance of what BHF has to offer and who are the stakeholders ? To what extent does BHF market its value to its members and become more visible in the industry as a representative body ? How do we remain a credible reference point in changing circumstances like NHI, SHI, GEMS for the industry, even with different or disparate business models of our members ? Is BHF doing enough to address fraud within the industry ? How can BHF assist or influence the reduction in costs and increase affordability and access to quality private healthcare ? What do we have to do not to become insignificant in the industry ?
