Fig. 1 Case no. 4. Macroscopic (on the left) and schematic (on the right) appearances of the myocardial bridging. It measured 40mm in length and 7mm in depth and was located at 10mm from the origin of the left anterior descending coronary. The patient was 80-year-old but the coronary anomaly apparently didn't produce any clinical or instrumental manifestation and was diagnosed only post-mortem.
