Figure 1 iPSC Vaccination Promotes a Robust T Cell Response Leading to Tumor Immunity Mice were vaccinated with either saline (A) or an iPSC and CpG cocktail (B). Vaccinated mice were then injected with breast, skin, or lung cancer cells. Tumors (blue circles) of control mice grew, but those of mice vaccinated with iPSCs did not. The iPSC-vaccinated mice possessed activated T cells reactive to epitopes shared between iPSCs and cancer cells (orange triangles). Upon adoptive transfer of these T cells to a mouse already bearing a tumor, the tumor regressed in response to T cells from iPSC-vaccinated mice but did not do so in response to cells from control mice.
